CINC – FORWARDING YOUR CUSTOM DOMAINS
If you are forwarding a custom domain to your personal CINC page, for example if you own “AdamSells.com” and are forwarding it to “Adam.FindHomesInCharleston.com” be sure of the following:
- Do not include “www.” at the beginning. Forwarding address should be “https://FirstNameLast.FindHomesInCharleston.com” and not “https://www.FirstNameLast.FindHomesInCharleston.com”
- Do not turn on “Masking”. This may be called different things by different webhosts. If masking is turned on, when someone goes to “AdamSells.com”, this address will remain in the browser bar at top as “AdamSells.com”. This will not work. With masking turned off, when someone goes to “AdamSells.com” the browser bar will update to show “Adam.FindHomesInCharleston.com”.
